Who we are
NovaMed Express provides medical courier services to healthcare organizations. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how it is handled.
It does not cover protected health information handled under a Business Associate Agreement with a covered entity. That information is governed by the agreement in place with your organization.
Information we collect
When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, organization, email address, phone number and the description of your requirement.
We collect basic technical information automatically, including the pages you view and general location derived from your IP address, to understand how the site is used.
How we use it
Inquiry information is used to respond to your request, prepare a service proposal and maintain our record of the conversation. We do not sell it.
Technical information is used in aggregate to improve the site. It is not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
Protected health information
Please do not include patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses or any other protected health information in a website form. These forms are not an appropriate channel for that information.
If you need to discuss a specific patient delivery, contact dispatch directly through the agreed channel for your account.
Retention
Inquiry records are retained for as long as needed to serve the relationship and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details on our contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
