Built around one problem
NovaMed Express started because Northeast Ohio has an unusual concentration of hospitals, reference laboratories, specialty pharmacies and outpatient clinics, and most of them are served by couriers who also move retail parcels.
That is the gap we were built for. A parcel network is optimized for volume and cost per stop. Clinical cargo is judged on stability windows, temperature integrity and whether you can prove who held the package and when. Those are different problems and they need a different operation.
So we run a medical-only fleet across one region. Couriers trained on clinical handling, custody documented rather than remembered, validated packaging where the commodity needs it, and a dispatcher who picks up the phone and knows your building.
We are early, and we would rather say so than invent a history. What we can offer is capacity held in reserve for STAT calls, and the willingness to prove ourselves on a single route before you move anything else.
How we operate
Document everything
If it is not recorded, it did not happen. Every claim we make about a delivery is backed by a scan, a signature or a temperature log.
Answer the phone
Dispatch is staffed by people who know your routes. No queue, no ticket number, no scripted escalation path.
Say no when we should
If a commodity or a window is outside what we can handle safely, we say so rather than take the booking and hope.
